Chaplain Jeff Bryan began his military career in 1991 as a Private and served nearly five years as an enlisted Infantryman with a brief stint as a Field Artillery Canon Crew member. His varied roles included the following: grenadier, squad automatic rifleman, anti-tank weapons specialist, radioman, and machine gunner before completing his service in early 1996.
In the fall of 1996, Dino Glassman, a street evangelist, met Jeff. Jeff accepted Jesus Christ into his life as his personal Lord and Savior and over the next year he sensed God leading him towards full-time ministry. In 1997 he attended Central Bible College (CBC) in Springfield, Missouri. After he graduated, Jeff ministered in the inner city of Los Angeles. He has also served in associate pastorships at New Life Assembly of God in Atchison, Kansas; Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Phillipsburg, Missouri; and National Avenue Assembly of God in Springfield, Missouri.
After completing a Master of Divinity at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS) in Springfield, Missouri, Jeff reentered active-duty service with the Army as a Chaplain.
Combat Chaplain Ministries was founded in 2011. It began with the simple intent to provide one chaplain's story of combat and evolved into further ministry.
Jeff retired Dec 31st of 2022.
